A standard flight with us from Kronplatz typically has an airtime of about 20 minutes. A thermal flight lasts between 30 and 40 minutes. Overall, you should plan for about 1 hour for the standard flight and about 1,5 hours for the thermal flight experience.

The difference between a standard flight and a thermal flight lies in the flight duration (airtime). During a thermal flight, we make use of natural updrafts to climb higher and extend your flight to at least 30 minutes.

If weather conditions don’t allow for this, you will, of course, only pay the price of a standard flight. This way, you are guaranteed an impressive flying adventure, where we make the most of the conditions available!

If the launch site is exceeded by 50 meters or more, we also count the flight as a thermal flight.

It’s best to adapt your clothing to the season – similar to what you would wear for a hike in the mountains.

In summer, shorts and a t-shirt are often enough. In winter, however, warm winter or ski clothing is a must to protect yourself from the cold. Sunglasses or your regular glasses are also a good idea, as you will be exposed to the wind during the flight. This way, you’ll be perfectly prepared for your paragliding adventure!

Hiking boots are not absolutely necessary. Hiking or trekking shoes are well-suited, but sneakers or trail running shoes are perfectly fine as well – as long as you can walk securely during take-off. The most important thing is that your shoes fit snugly and provide good support. This way, you’ll be perfectly prepared for your flying adventure!

Depending on the season, our slots tend to fill up quickly. If you’re spending a week in the region, it’s best to get in touch at the beginning of your vacation so we can find the perfect flight time together.

If you’re only staying for 1-3 days, it’s recommended to contact us a few days before your arrival. Of course, we also welcome last-minute inquiries – our team is flexible and often finds a spontaneous opportunity for your flying adventure!

We aim to operate without requiring a deposit whenever possible. We kindly ask that you honor your booking, as last-minute cancellations can be difficult for us due to our efforts to align pilots with the flight schedule. You can pay for your flight after landing.

Fear of heights usually isn’t an issue when paragliding. Once you’re comfortably seated in the harness and feel the security of the wing, you’ll be able to relax. In fact, it’s often more uncomfortable standing on a steep slope than soaring through the air. When paragliding, you will experience height in a unique and pleasant way. Go ahead – this experience will amaze you!

We only fly when safety is assured. While conditions can vary from calm to slightly turbulent, safety always comes first. Thunderstorms, heavy rain, or strong winds are unsuitable for flying. In such situations, we strive to reschedule or cancel flights to ensure your safety.

No. A tandem paraglider is designed for only two people (the pilot and one passenger). According to Italian law and insurance regulations, flying with three people on one paraglider is not permitted.
